July Fourth and More and a Great Time for Western Montana Real Estate.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

July 4th was glorious this year. Typically we can expect some rain, but not

this year. It was picture perfect.

On July 5th, I hosted an open house on Flathead Lake at Paradise Cove. What

a wonderful way to spend the day. This wonderful cabin has a yard and deck

overlooking the lake. So I met with visitors and enjoyed a perfect day. The

cabin is still available to purchase and I think some lucky person will realize

what a great place this is. There is even a boat slip and swimming pool in this

lovely community just minutes from Polson. The neighbors are from Canada

and I met with people from California and Missoula, too.

It seems as if Real Estate inventory is a bit low. I just put an ad in the paper

asking for anyone thinking of listing to give me a call. I have buyers

looking for nice centrally located homes and others looking for investment

properties.

On another note–Leland has now hiked the full continental divide in

New Mexico and Colorado and is now taking on Wyoming. Soon, he said he

will be back home in Montana. Of course Montana is at least 920 miles, so

that will be a challenge. His voice sounds happy and healthy. I think the trip

is going far too fast.  And Carter is having a great summer, camping, hiking

getting together with friends and working with his Dad.

Mark has just put up trusses on a new home for a great couple in Missoula.

I love new construction. I will have to post some pictures soon. This fall I

hope to set up his website, too.

Tomorrow, back to Flathead Lake to enjoy a day of sailing and sun with

friends. Can’t wait!
